IN PROGRAMMA LA COSTRUZIONE DI UN NUOVO TERMINALE MERCI NEL PORTO DI YUZHNY
NELLA REGIONE DI ODESA

As communicated  by the press service  of the  Yuzhny Port Company, on december 13  during  the ceremony of unloading of  the  "Ocean Ambitious" vessel, which delivered 62,000 tonnes of coal  for the  thermal power plants (TPP) of PJSC Centrenergo, it was  announced the plan  to build a new terminal for bulk import and export bulk cargo at the Yuzhny Port in the region of Odesa.
Joe Vitaliy Zhukovsky, director of the company, noted that the future terminal is intended for unloading bulk cargoes of coal and similar products. The new terminal will contribute to increasing cargo turnover, increasing the speed of ship processing and coal shipment by the railroad netwok.
Mr. Zhukovsky added that for the month of  September, the State Enterprise" "Yuzhny Port"  plans to receive  6 ships  with coking coal for various cargo owners, the total volume of which will exceeds 530.000 tons and that from the beginning of 2017, 294.000 tons of anthracite and about 1 million tons of coking coal have already been sent to the power industry. 
Mr. Zhukovsky  stressed that the growth of the number of imported goods urges  the construction of a new terminal that shall  definitely become an example of a high-tech, environmental and energy-saving industrial complex. 
"The implemention of  such a project will be  possible in partnership with investors" Mr. Zhukovsky stated,  "so today we are open for discussion and cooperation in the form of public-private partnership. The enterprise will continue to fulfill its strategic function in ensuring the energy independence of Ukraine "
